Dan O'Donnell

Upper School Math Teacher

Education:

B.S. in Biology, minor in ecology & evolution, at the University of Connecticut (2015); M.S. in biology at Wake Forest University (2018)

Dan joined our faculty for the 2019-20 school year. He is most interested in New Garden's teaching philosophy and the community as a whole. Dan is looking forward to developing a strong relationship with his students.

Dan's hobbies include running, hiking, camping, long-distance biking, ultimate frisbee, and board games. Dan also loves to spend time with his family, which includes his parents, grandparents and his three sisters who all live in Connecticut where Dan grow up.

Fun Facts:

Dan has a black belt in both Tae Kwon Do and Mixed Martial Arts.

He also rode his bike across the U.S., from Seattle, WA to New England.

Dan is also anosmic meaning he has no sense of smell.
