Preschool Teacher (Crocus)

Education: Studied math at UNCG 1999-2002; EMT certification 2016

Before joining the preschool team for the 2019-20 school year, Eva previously provided in-home daycare for a child with seizures; private after-school care for a child with high-functioning autism; and was a childcare provider at New Garden Friends Meeting. 

She was interested in working at NGFS because, "I identify with Quaker principles and think the world would be a better place if all children were taught with an undercurrent of SPICES." She is excited to help set a strong, fun foundation for a group of great kids this year.

Eva also enjoys arts and crafts, reading, and watching football with her family: her husband, 16-year-old son, 14-year-old daughter, and 2 cats, Cosmo and Toby.
