Education: Jason holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA and BSBA in Accounting from Appalachian State University.

Jason joined ALT in January 2018. Jason is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in various industries including not-for-profit organizations, colleges and universities, health care, manufacturing and financial institutions. He is a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He has most recently worked as the Controller of the Well Spring Group where he oversaw the accounting for Well Spring Life Plan Community, Well Spring Home Care and Well Spring Solutions (the Adult Center for Enrichment). 

Jason and his wife Dee have been part of our school community for years as the parents of Jennings (9th grade), Virginia (7th grade), and Gray (5th grade.) Jason also served on the Board of Trustees from 2015-2018.
