Jennifer has formerly worked as a history instructor at Davidson County Community College and has served on the faculty at Wilkes Community College. She has also been a Curator and Archivist at the Wilkes Heritage Museum. Most recently at NGFS, she has served in the role of College Counselor and Admissions Associate for the Upper School.
When asked what interested her about working at NGFS, Jennifer replied, “I came to know and love NGFS and the Quaker community when my brother, Ben Lancaster, enrolled in the Lower School. I was drawn to the inclusiveness, sense of community, and importance placed upon equality, that were evidenced at the school and New Garden Friends Meeting. My daughter, Vivian, has attended NGFS since first grade. It has been a pleasure to be a parent of a student at the Friends School and I am thrilled to further support the mission of NGFS as part of the Upper School this year.”
Jennifer has many interests and likes to spend her free time traveling. She loves going to Disney World, Savannah, and New Orleans with her family, but she’s also been to more exotic locations such as Paris and even the Galapagos Islands. Jennifer also has a passion for horseback riding and she teaches lessons. When she’s not busy riding or exploring the world, Jennifer likes to read.
