Spanish Teacher

Education: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from Guilford College and her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and English as a Second Language from UNCG.
Prior to joining the NGFS faculty in 2018, Morgan spent ten years teaching Spanish in the Lower School at Greensboro Day School. While there, she created the preschool Spanish program, closely collaborating with the preschool teachers. Additionally, she has taught Spanish at Ragsdale High School and middle school Spanish classes at B'nai Shalom Day School.
Morgan has been involved in the Quaker community throughout her life, including youth programs at New Garden Friends Meeting and the Quaker Leadership Scholars Program at Guilford College.
Morgan loves New Garden's commitment to diversity and inclusivity and is looking forward to getting to know all the new students this year. Morgan’s 4-year-old twins will be in the A Child’s Garden Iris classroom.
